Independents Fiber Network COVID-19 Update

As many of you have read or heard, the state of Ohio’s Governor issued a state of emergency, restricted gatherings to less than 100 people as well as closed all bars and restaurants to the public. The CNI/Independents handbook has a pandemic plan of action that we have chosen to implement.  In the best interest of all employees, starting Tuesday, March 17th the majority of staff is mandated to work from home until this crisis has abated.  We have a long standing work from home policy so this transition will allow us to provide business continuity as well as seamless interactions with our staff and customers.  All utilities, tools, phone services and cross-team communications remain available to our group.

We did not undertake this decision lightly but it has been determined that having a large number of people in such close proximity on a daily basis is not a safe environment given the current outbreak. We will continue to be available 24/7/365 for all of your needs and will continue to provide the high level of service you deserve.

If your company is considering closing your offices please don’t hesitate to reach out to us as we are happy to offer information regarding the tools and techniques we employ.  Thank you for your continued business and please stay safe.
